The MALGA DUO is surface-mounted using anchors, so you only need to drill small holes in the ceiling. The light source is not included, allowing you to choose the GU10 bulb’s power and color temperature yourself – for example, neutral for the kitchen, warm for the living room, or cool for the study.
MALGA DUO works well in the kitchen to illuminate specific areas – a worktop or island. In the dining area, it serves as zone lighting above the table. In the wardrobe, it can illuminate shelves and cabinets (also usable as a wall light).
The key is the "spot" design. Unlike flat ceiling lights, MALGA DUO does not diffuse light across the entire ceiling but lets you control where the light is focused. The black-and-white combination makes it suitable for white ceilings (the black elements provide contrast) and loft or industrial interiors (the black ring matches other details).
